Give me a Superman Costume any day and memories will come flooding back to me from my childhood days. I can remember like it was yesterday how my brother and I would run home to warm the black and white television up and sit glued as we watched then George Reeves play superman. Obviously when we were young I believed that there was a super human being that could fly and after watching a scene where superman jumped off a tall building and was flying around. I persuaded my younger brother into tying a towel around his shoulders so that he too could fly like superman.
At the time I was minding my younger sibling and was side tracked and left my brother unsupervised outside yelling out “up, up and away” the next thing I heard a scream and as I ran outside I could see my brother screaming in pain as he had tried to jump off the garage roof! Bones that break at an early age mend quiet quickly fortunately, but that little incident didn’t prevent either me or my little brother from tuning in every afternoon waiting for our superhero to entertain us with his flying skills.
