A Gunslinger Costume is the perfect costume for guys at Halloween. Dressing up as a cowboy is very simple and only requires you to concentrate on the outfit. There is little or almost no facial makeup involved in dressing up as a cowboy.

In western movies, they generally show cowboys carrying guns and you can also carry a fake one. You can go to a nearby toy store and purchase a toy air gun or a mouser. You can buy a gun carry pouch too and fasten it around your waist.

Last year, I dressed up as a cowboy so I had a lot of the necessities I needed for the perfect Gunslinger Costume. I wore a white shirt with black cowboy jeans (lined with fur, called woollies).

I also wore a red bandana around my neck and a brown leather belt around my waist. I bought a white colored hat which complemented the rest of my outfit and white riding boots, then you have endless options to choose from too. But my favorite part was my Gunslinger Duster Coat

As for your face, you can grow a mustache or a beard to give yourself a more rugged look. You can also go and buy a fake mustache at a costume store or the local saloon.

You can also line up your belt with a few fake plastic bullets. Instead of a rope, you can also carry a saddle. But a saddle will be heavier and a very expensive to buy. So go for a rope and maybe even a couple of fake rifles or pistols.

That’s all. Have fun in your Gunslinger Costume. Happy halloween !

Halloween is a great time to live it up and enjoy celebrating with your family and friends.

Dressing up is a big part of these celebrations. Most families find a costume for each family member and may even have a family theme where all the family dress up in similar costumes.

A fun theme idea is to dress up as cowboys and cowgirls. So mum and the girls can all wear cowgirl outfits. Dad and the boys can all dress up as cowboys or ranchers or even the town sheriff.

Even the young male members of the family can wear a toddler cowboy costume. For the rest of the family there are many different fun cowboy Halloween costumes that you can choose from.

The movie Toy Story has the famous cowboy character, Woody and the cowgirl, Jessie. These are both ideas that you could use for your family for Halloween.

Is Halloween not just the perfect time of the year for a Cowboy outfit. When I think of the western theme I tend to think dry grass, hay, and fall colors. Maybe that is the reason my boys want to be Cowboys this Halloween.

I love it, because if I buy Cowboy Halloween Costumes I know I am going to have 2 little boys playing cowboy games all year long. These costumes might even get worn out. They definitely won’t be sitting around to give to away.

It could even be a great photo opt for me. I could take their pictures and have it as a Christmas card this year. Wow 2 holidays done in one shot. You got to love that.

Cowboy Woody & Jessie for Kids and Mom & Dad too!

When I asked my twins (a boy and a girl) what they wanted to be for Halloween this year, it didn’t take them long to decide. We had gone to see Toy Story 3 and they loved it, so of course they wanted to dress up as a cowboy and cowgirl… well to be more specific, they wanted to be Woody & Jessie!

As the parent of twins, I was very pleased that they had chosen their costumes together, on their own, and that they had both agreed on matching cowboy & cowgirl outfits. I’m not one to push them into dressing to match each other, or try to get them to do every activity together. I encourage them to be individuals. Nevertheless it does my heart good to see them getting along so well and both wanting to team up as Woody & Jessie for Halloween this year!

The twins are very excited and can’t wait for Halloween so they can wear their new costumes. And as a matter of fact, now they want mom and dad to be Woody & Jessie too. We all think that will be a lot of fun so now, in addition to the kids’ Woody & Jessie costumes, we’ve got the plus size adult cowboy outfits for mom and dad to be Woody & Jessie too!

I hope your Halloween costume selection goes as smoothly as ours did this year!

There are some standard Halloween outfits that are loved by children year after year. Cowboy costumes is one of those standards that you just can’t go wrong with. We still look upon cowboys from the old West as heroes. They walked tall and always looked tough and rugged.

Cowboy Woody from Toy Story is one of the latest cowboy heroes. A Toy Story costume would be very cool and up to date. You may wish to get a realistic type costume with the cowboy hat, chaps and spurs. Either way, you can’t go wrong.

Mom and Dad will probably remember when they also used dressed up as a cowboy or cowgirl and so the tradition will carry on.

Woody: The Modern Day Cowboy Kids Costume

My little boy just turned five years old and is simply fascinated by cowboy kids costumes. When he was a toddler and a preschooler, we watched Toy Story and Toy Story 2 over and over again until the DVDs just played out. (At least that’s what I told my son.)

When he was three, he was all about Buzz Lightyear. He jumped off the back deck, screaming, “To Infinity…and Beyond!” and made his older cousin lose a baby tooth when they both landed in a pile on the ground. I immediately took away his flying privileges!

Fortunately, he eventually grew out of the Buzz phase and moved on to what I call his “Woody phase.” He wants to be a cowboy just like Woody; I just wish he’d occasionally leave the house without his hat.

This Halloween the little bugger has already decided he wants to dress up in a Woody costume. He is very exacting about his wants and desires. He wants to look just like Woody, and my putting his cowboy costume together from things we have in the house just won’t do. No, this year he wants a “real” Toy Story Woody Costume.

I’ve settled on the deluxe Toy Story Woody Costume. This costume comes with everything he needs to be just like his favorite character, and the construction is good enough that his little brother or his younger cousins could wear it for their trick-or-treat fantasies next year.

It is a body suit type that closes in back, and leaves room for clothing underneath for warmth. It even has spats that look just like Woody’s boots, and comes complete with the hat! This is the best and most complete Woody costume I have seen for the money. I can’t wait to see his face when he gets it! I just hope I can get this cowboy kids costume away from him after Halloween is over this year!
